Who prints your cloth
Hoorain Textile Design prints luxury fabric to your brief
Hoorain Textile Design is the printed fabric studio of HOORAIN TEXTILES LTD, and the whole operation is built around one idea: a printed cloth should look considered from a distance and rewarding up close. You bring the artwork, the colour reference or the mood you are chasing, and we take it through repeat setting, colour building, printing and finishing until the roll behaves the way a luxury fabric should.
Most of our clients are fashion labels, interior designers, independent makers and small studios who need a design printed on silk or fine cotton without committing to industrial volumes. You are not pushed towards a stock range or a standard colourway; you choose the base cloth, the scale of the repeat and the finish, and we tell you honestly where a choice will cost you money or add to the lead time.
Every order passes through the same checking points before anything reaches a drum. We read the artwork for repeat faults and banding, test the colour build on the actual cloth, and send a strike off for your written approval. If something is not right at that stage, you say so and we adjust it, because it is far cheaper for both of us to correct a sample than a finished run.
The base cloths we hold cover the qualities most requested for printed luxury work: silk crepe de chine, silk twill, silk satin, cotton poplin, cotton lawn and a silk cotton blend. Printing is only half the job, so washing, steaming and heat setting sit alongside it, giving you cloth that is stable enough to cut rather than cloth that needs further treatment before it is useful.
You deal with the same people from the first enquiry to the final roll, which matters when a repeat needs a small change or a delivery date moves. Talk to us about the design you have in mind and we will quote on the cloth, the run length and the finish, with no vague figures and no assumption that you already know the trade.
